Remember registering for class? Waiting in long lines to try to get your pick of courses was one of the rituals that virtually all Penn State students had to endure at the outset of each semester. Today's on-line registration procedure is a far cry from the process of the 1960s and 1970s, when paper cards and departmental tables ruled in Rec Hall, as shown in this photo. Phone registration replaced arena registration in 1987, and the University went on-line with the system in 1995.
